Yes, I know it's been a very long time...long time, nearly 5 months, in fact, since I've blogged. I apologize for the delay. It wasn't my intention to appear so aloof. The reason for my disappearance is simply that I haven't had time to invest in the site, lately. All of my time, nowadays, is spent teaching, building and repairing guitars, and in doing website development. I'm implementing changes in how I do things around here, and I'm hoping that by the first of the year those changes will help me to invest at least some time in blogging and working on the GT website each week.
That said, here is some information on where things are currently with the site.
First, I have recently added two new resources to the resources drop down menu, a metronome and a drum machine. Please check these out and let me know what you think.
Second, there were some bugs in the user automatic update software I installed. In case you forgot, this software was supposed to notify GT members anytime the site was updated, be it a new blog post, new users joining our little community, video uploads, etc. I plan on getting that working after the first of the year and I hope to do at least one blog post per week.
Finally, I've added a donate button on the homepage. The reason for this is that while this site is free for you, it isn't for me. It takes time to maintain it and dollars to hold on to the domain and continue hosting it. A donation however small helps to offset those costs and thus aids in keeping Guitar Therapy alive. I need to add that I don't expect my students to donate. But for the rest of you "moochers" (lol), if you've found the information and/or resources available to you valuable, a donation is much appreciated, even if it's only a buck or two...every little bit helps.
